On July 18th the Financial Monitoring Center of the Central Bank of Armenia organized a seminar for the representatives of internal monitoring units of pawnshops operating in RA
In the framework of the seminar, the participants were presented topics related to ML/TF new risks, tendencies, high risk and suspicious transactions indicators, international sanctions and other developments regarding combatting ML/TF. Besides, the participants conducted case studies regarding suspicious transaction indicators, red flags and etc.
The seminar is to be delivered on a continuous basis, aimed at introducing all reporting entities the developments in the sphere of combatting ML/TF.
