FINANCIAL STABILITY
Financial soundness indicators
Armenian core FSI indicators
Financial Soundness Indicators (FSIs) are
statistical measures designed to monitor the financia l health and soundness
of a country’s financial sector, and its corporate and household
counterparts. The development of these experimental indicators is
coordinated by the International Monetary Fund, with the support of other
international organizations and IMF member countries. The main initiative of
developing this system of indicators was to ensure the availability of
internationally comparable data on the stability of financial systems for a
large number of countries. FSI-s of all countries are available in the home
page of the International Monetary Fund.
