Financial Stability Report
Financial Stability Report (FSR), summarizes the results of financial stability analyses key assessments of possible risks, and provide in-depth coverage of topics currently relevant to financial stability. The main purpose of FSR is to provide an assessment of potential risks and vulnerabilities to the country's financial stability in the short or longer term. It also covers the macroprudential measures and regulatory initiatives conducted by the CBA to ensure financial stability.
Publishing of the report allows to raise the awareness of financial institutions, companies, businesses and the population, while ensuring the transparency of the Central Bank’s activities.
Risks to financial stability may stem from both the domestic or global economy or from the financial system itself. Based on that, FSR contains the general overview of economic, financial and structural trends that can pose a threat to country’s financial system.
The CBA has been publishing FSR since 2007. Until 2021, it was published semi-annually. Starting from 2021 FSR is published annually.
