Armenian Core FSIs
Financial Soundness Indicators (FSIs) are statistical measures designed to monitor the financial health and soundness of a country's financial sector, and its corporate and household counterparts. Financial soundness indicators are methodological tools that help quantify and qualify the soundness and vulnerabilities of financial systems according to five areas of interest: capital adequacy, asset quality, earnings, liquidity, and sensitivity to market risk.
The development of these indicators is coordinated by the International Monetary Fund, with the support of other international organizations and IMF member countries. The main initiative of developing this system of indicators was to ensure the availability of internationally comparable data on the stability of financial systems for a large number of countries. Extended Financial Stability Indicators
In addition to the Core FSIs, a broader set of indicators is monitored to support the assessment of risks in the financial system and guide financial stability decisions. These indicators cover financial institutions, markets and infrastructure, along with the macroeconomic environment, households and real estate sector. They also contribute to analytical work and serve as a key input for the Financial Stability Reports. This dataset is regularly updated and published in accordance with the availability of the underlying data.
