| From 1997 to 2011 International Investment Position was compiled by NSS of RA, since 2011 it is compiled by the Central bank of RA. |
| The international investment position time series are revised due to IMF BPM6 manual methodology, as well as for the purposes of calculation methods unification and error correction. Taking into account, that some items needs further improvement it is intended that revision of selected items will continue in 2014-2017. |
| Attention: Starting from June 30 2014 the international investment position will be published only on BPM6 basis. |

In 2025, the data on government debt securities liabilities for the years 2022–2024 were revised, based on new data received from financial institutions of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2025, due to adjustments in real sector data, the account “Trade credit and advances” for the years 2023–2024 was revised .The increase in stocks of this account in 2025 is also due to adjustments to the completeness of real sector data.
In 2025, the stocks of RA residents' foreign deposits were adjusted due to the revised data published by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
