The external debt time series are revised due to IMF BPM6 manual methodology, as well as for the purposes of calculation methods unification and error correction. Taking into account, that some items needs further improvement it is intended that revision of selected items will continue in 2014-2017.

Attention: Starting from June 30 2014 the external debt will be published only on BPM6 basis.

In 2025, due to adjustments in real sector data, the account “Trade credit and advances” for the years 2023–2024 was revised .The increase in stocks of this account in 2025 is also due to adjustments to the completeness of real sector data.

In 2025, the data on government debt securities liabilities for the years 2022–2024 were revised, based on new data received from financial institutions of the Republic of Armenia.
