Concepts and definitions:  The Central Bank Survey presents the assets and liabilities of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia in relation to both residents and non-residents. The primary indicator on the balance sheet is the monetary base, representing the central bank's liabilities that contribute to money creation. The data are compiled according the guidelines of the Monetary and Financial Statistics Manual and Compilation Guide (2016)
Scope and classifications: The stocks of summary indicators are compiled daily and monthly based on the balance sheet data of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, in accordance with the Monetary and Financial Statistics Manual and Compilation Guide (2016). The summary indicators are divided into the main components: Net Foreign Assets (NFA) and Net Domestic Assets (NDA) on the asset side, and cash outside the Central Bank of Armenia, correspondent accounts of commercial banks, as well as deposits and other accounts held at the Central Bank on the liability side.
Revision: Quarterly and annual data are preliminary and revised two and three months after first release, respectively.
Notes:  A more detailed breakdown by instrument is included in the Monetary and Financial Statistics Handbook.
