Concepts and definitions:  The depository corporations' survey presents the assets and liabilities of the Central Bank of Armenia, commercial banks, and credit organizations with respect to both residents and non-residents. The primary indicator on the balance sheet is broad money (M2), which represents the total of all liquid financial instruments held by money-holding sectors. The data are compiled according the guidelines of the Monetary and Financial Statistics Manual and Compilation Guide (2016)
Scope and classifications: The stocks of summary indicators are compiled monthly based on the balance sheets of the Central Bank, commercial banks, and credit organizations. The summary indicators for depository corporations are categorized into main components: Net Foreign Assets (NFA) and Net Domestic Assets (NDA) on the asset side, and cash in circulation, residents' demand and term AMD deposits, as well as residents' foreign currency deposits on the liability side.
Revision: Quarterly and annual data are preliminary and revised two and three months after first release, respectively.
Notes: Indicators of credit organizations are included starting from 2008.
