Job responsibilities
- Studying the risks arising from various sectors of the economy, particularly private sector debt, using a range of analytical, statistical, and econometric tools and models.
- Assessing the impact of these risks on the stability of the financial system of the Republic of Armenia.
- Preparing financial stability reports and periodically reviewing and updating their content.
- Analyzing international approaches to ensuring and assessing financial stability, and evaluating the relevance and applicability of these methods in the context of the Republic of Armenia.
- Reviewing and analyzing projects outlined in the Central Bank's strategy (especially the bank restructuring framework), as well as other policies (e.g., monetary policy), and evaluating their impact on the financial system and financial stability.
- Performing additional tasks assigned by the team leader, which may include preparing letters, press materials, conducting seminars, and handling other extra-program responsibilities.
Required qualifications
- Higher education in finance, economics, or mathematics.
- 1-3 years of work experience in the financial sector.
- Advanced knowledge of macroeconomics and the financial sector.
- Strong understanding of banking legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in modeling and econometric programs.
- Knowledge of risk management principles.
- Knowledge of accounting practices.
- Excellent command of Armenian, with fluency in Russian and English.
- Strong skills in working with search engines and databases.
As well as: - The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw comprehensive conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
