On October 16–17 the Central Bank of Armenia organized the international forum “Thriving in Sustainable Times: The ESG for Banks and Policymakers” at the CBA Training and Research Center in Dilijan.

The event brought together representatives from leading institutions, including the Deutsche Bundesbank, World Bank, IFAC, and Armenia’s public and private sector, to discuss ESG integration, sustainability reporting, and green finance.

Participants explored the relevance of ESG disclosures and the EU sustainable finance framework, as well as key issues related to climate adaptation, ESG risk management, and the importance of transparency and accountability in sustainable finance.

The second day focused on fostering trust in sustainability reporting and featured sessions addressing ongoing reforms, market trends, and green finance practices.
The forum concluded with discussions on ESG supervision and sustainable data innovation, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing ESG-driven development.
