Endorsing Central Bank Regulation 7/02 “Minimum Total Capital Threshold for Crypto Assets Service Providers; Calculation Procedure and Elements Included in and Deducted from the Calculation”

 Publication date` 21.01.2026

Aiming to establish minimum total capital limits for crypto assets service providers in order to absorb potential losses related to their activities, ensure their financial stability, protect the interests of clients and, in general, ensure the normal functioning of the crypto-asset market;

In view of Article 24 (2) (5), and Article 44 (2) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On Crypto Assets”;

Pursuant to Article 2 (3) and Article 20 (1) “e” of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”,

 the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia 

 E n a c t s:

1. Endorse the Central Bank Regulation 7/02 “Minimum Total Capital Threshold for Crypto Assets Service Providers; Calculation Procedure and Elements Included in and Deducted from the Calculation”, in accordance with Appendix to this resolution.
2. This resolution to enter into force on the tenth (10th) day following its official publication.
