The Central Bank, remaining committed to the principles of transparency and accountability, continues the public consultation process on the regulations necessary for the implementation of the Law on “Crypto-Assets.”

We would like to thank all those who have actively participated in the public consultations on draft regulations governing the crypto-asset sector.

We hereby present for your consideration two additional draft regulations governing the sector:

1. Regulation 7/07, “Rules and Requirements Governing the Activities of Crypto-Asset Service Providers”;
2. Amendments to Decision No. 12-N of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia of January 26, 2026, “On Establishing the Requirements for Making, Maintaining (Archiving), and the Content of Records or Entries Relating to Transactions in Crypto-Assets, as well as the Procedure for Their Submission to the Central Bank.”

We invite all interested parties to submit their comments and proposals on the draft regulations by August 26 of this year. Please send your comments and proposals to mcba@cba.am , indicating “Crypto-Asset Regulation” in the subject line and including in the email your full name, the organization you represent, if applicable, as well as your contact details for follow-up communication.

After the Central Bank has consolidated the submitted proposals, a meeting will be organized with the individuals and representatives of organizations that submitted comments in order to discuss them. The comments received and the positions taken in respect of them will subsequently be published.
