OECD Delegation Met with Representatives of the Central Bank of Armenia
On March 18, representatives of the Central Bank of Armenia hosted a delegation from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as part of an ongoing benchmarking exercise aimed at assessing key developments in the economic and financial sectors.
A central component of this exercise is the financial markets dimension, which encompasses a comprehensive evaluation of the banking sector, non-bank financial institutions, capital markets, corporate governance, as well as financial literacy, inclusion, and consumer protection.
During the meeting, OECD experts presented the preliminary findings of the assessment and engaged in detailed discussions with CBA representatives. This exchange provided an opportunity to clarify outstanding issues, ensure that the analysis accurately reflects national developments and priorities, and support the development of tailored and well-grounded policy recommendations.
