An exhibition dedicated to the history of currency circulation in Armenia launched in Agarak, Syunik Region

On November 1, the Central Bank of Armenia launched an exhibition in the city of Agarak, Meghri Municipality, dedicated to the history of currency circulation in Armenia. This is the 15th stop of the CBA’s numismatic tour and the third one in the Syunik Region, following Kapan and Sisian.

The exhibition will be open from November 1 to 9. The goal is not only to present the rich history of Armenia’s currency circulation but also to promote financial education by presenting the principles of using banking and financial services in a simple and accessible way.

The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to explore historical and modern coins, collectible and commemorative coin sets issued by the Central Bank of Armenia, as well as the functions of the Central Bank and the rules for using financial system services.

The Central Bank of Armenia emphasizes the importance of such initiatives as valuable tools for promoting educational and cultural values and for enhancing financial awareness.
