On September 30, the concluding meeting of the delegation of the International Monetary Fund’s mission to Armenia was held.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia, Martin Galstyan received the delegation led by Alexander Ferenc Tieman, IMF Mission Chief for Armenia.

The meeting summarized the results of the discussions conducted in the preceding days, focusing on the Armenia’s economic developments, the current priorities of monetary and macroprudential policy, as well as the impact of regional and global challenges.

Both parties reaffirmed the importance of maintaining and strengthening cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and discussed possible areas of cooperation within the new program with the Fund.
