On July 21–22 a seminar-meeting titled “Coin Design and Production Technologies” was held at the Central Bank of Armenia’s Dilijan Research and Training Center.

During the seminar, specialists from the Central Bank of Armenia’s Currency Issuance and Numismatics Center shared their professional experience, along with Ms. Susan van Wijk, Board Member and Managing Director of the Royal Dutch Mint, and Mr. Bert van Ravenswaaij, Board Member and Head of Marketing and Sales.

Topics discussed included the modeling and minting features of the sketches for commemorative coins planned for release in 2026, modern coin production technologies, and issues related to the currency issuance process.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the Central Bank of Armenia as well as designers who have repeatedly participated in and won the Republic of Armenia’s commemorative coin sketch competitions.
