The coin is dedicated to the Artashesian Kingdom (189 BC–6 AD). The founder of the Kingdom is Artashes I.
"Artashessian Kingdom" collector coin is included in "Armenian Statehood" series of coins. The series includes also the coins "National Assembly Building", "Arshakuni Kingdom", "Bagratuni Kingdom" and "Kingdom of Cilicia".
Obverse: the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia.
Reverse: a fragment from the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia – the coat of arms of the Artashessian Kingdom (189 BC–6 AD), which depicts two eagles with their heads turned off and an octal star; there are seven starlets beneath the image.
