 Permitting the Termination of the Activities of “Kotayq” Branch Office of “Araratbank”, an Open Joint-Stock Company

 

In view of Article 18 (4) (“g1”) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”, and Article 28 (8) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On Banks and Banking”, and Chapter 11 of Regulation 1 “Procedures for Licensing, Registration, Granting Consent and Permission, Appraisal of the Professional Adequacy and Qualification in the Banking” as approved under the Republic of Armenia Central Bank Board Resolution No. 145-N, dated April 12, 2005;

Considering the conclusion issued by the Licensing and Supervision Committee of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia (Minutes No. 25, dated May 27, 2025); and

Having examined the letter of request, dated May 7, 2025, along with the required documentation and deliverables, which “Araratbank”, an Open Joint-Stock Company, submitted to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia,

          We decide: 

  1. Permit the termination of the activities of “Kotayq” Branch Office of “Araratbank” Open Joint-Stock Company․
  2. Recognize the termination of the activities of “Kotayq” Branch Office of “Araratbank” Open Joint-Stock Company as registered effective from the date of submission of the relevant documents, as specified by the legislation, to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
  3. This decision to enter into force on the day it is signed.
