GOVERNOR DECISION

April 23, 2025 No. 1/136 A

 Suspending the One-Month Period of Time in Connection with Registration of Elena-Ana Cernat as Member of the Board of “Converse Bank”, a Closed Joint-Stock Company

 In view of Article 18 (4) (“g¹”) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”, and Article 33 (2) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On Banks and Banking”, and Paragraph 194 of Regulation 1 “Procedures for Licensing, Registration; Granting Consent and Permission; Appraising the Professional Integrity and Qualification in the Field of Banking” as approved under the Republic of Armenia Central Bank Board Resolution No. 145-N, dated April 12, 2005;      

Considering the conclusion issued by the Licensing and Supervision Committee of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia (Minutes No. 19, dated April 23, 2025); and

Having examined the letters of request, along with the documents and deliverables, which the “Converse Bank”, a Closed Joint-Stock Company, presented to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia on January 18, 2025, March 5, 2025, and April 2, 2025, 

We decide: 

1. Suspend the one-month period of time in connection with registration of Elena-Ana Cernat as Member of the Board of “Converse Bank” Closed Joint-Stock Company, in order to clarify certain circumstances.
2. This decision to enter into force on the day it is signed.
