 Conducting Inspections for Legislation Compliance at Exchange Offices operating in the Republic of Armenia

In view of Article 391 and Article 395 of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”;

Pursuant to Article 18 (4) (“g1”) of the Republic of Armenia Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia”,          

           We decide: 

  1. Instruct the Financial Supervision and Licensing Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia to conduct inspections for legislation compliance at the entities licensed to trade in foreign currency, including their licensed branch offices, for a period between January 15, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
  2. Approve the list of exchange offices licensed to trade foreign currency in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, in accordance with Appendix attached hereto.
  3. Entrust the Financial Supervision and Licensing Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia with overseeing the implementation of this decision.
  4. 4. This decision to enter into force on the day it is signed.
