The Central Bank of Armenia reminds legal entities and individual entrepreneurs that were providing crypto-asset services in the territory of the Republic of Armenia as of July 4, 2025 the date on which the Law on Crypto-Assets entered into force and wish to continue providing such services that they must be registered and licensed by the Central Bank of Armenia as crypto-asset service providers by January 31, 2027.

After January 31, 2027, the provision or offering of crypto-asset services without the appropriate registration and license will no longer be permitted.

Considering the time required to prepare the documents necessary for registration and licensing and to complete the relevant procedures, the Central Bank urges interested parties not to postpone the submission of the required documents until the final days of the transitional period and to initiate the process as early as possible.
