​On November 8, 15, and 22 representative of the Financial Monitoring Center of the Central Bank of Armenia was invited by the Notarial Chamber to participate in the seminar for all the notaries operating in RA
In the framework of the seminar, the participants were presented topics on obligations for notaries envisaged by AML/CFT Law, recent developments in the AML/CFT legislation and etc. In details were discussed the practical implementation of the requirement envisaged by the “Law on making changes and amendments in the AML/CFT Law” adopted by the National Assembly of RA on March 1st, according to which the part of the transaction օn buying and selling real estate exceeding 50 million should be done in a non cash way, grounds for adopting such requirement, as well as obligations of notaries in this respect.
At the end of the seminar, the participants highlighted the importance and need of delivering such meetings on a continuous basis aimed at introducing notaries the developments in the sphere of combatting ML/TF.
