This commemorative Coin is issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia is devoted to the Armenian King - Tigran the Great. The king Tigran B (95-55 B.C.) was a representative of the Artashesyan Dynasty and did much for the strengthening of Armenian statehood. During the reign of Tigran B honoured with titles "the Great" and "the King of Kings", Armenia has become one of the most powerful and developted states in the region.
